Nicole J. Soria


NICOLE J. SORIA graduated as Valedictorian of Thomas Jefferson law school, she also has an M.B.A. from California State University San Marcos and a B.A. from the University of South Florida where she competed as an NCAA Division 1 (full scholarship) athlete as a swimmer. Ms. Soria is also fluent in Spanish.

With her previous firm, Ms. Soria handled all aspects of construction defect litigation resulting in millions of dollars in recoveries for her community association (‘HOA’) clients. Prior to practicing construction defect law, she was employed as In-House Counsel for a multi-billion-dollar European company. While awaiting her Bar Exam results, she was selected for a prestigious and highly competitive Graduate Law Clerk position at the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office. During that time she appeared in Superior Court over 160 times, fighting for victims of child abuse and domestic violence.

Ms. Soria also served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps from 2008-2012. Ms. Soria deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 as a Female Engagement Team Leader on the first all-female unit of Marines (II Marine Expeditionary Forces) to deploy into combat fully embedded into Marine Infantry Battalions. She also created and led a Female Search Team program in Afghanistan, which recruited and trained female marines for specialized security operations in Helm and Province.

Ms. Soria is passionate about ocean conservation and is a certified Rescue Scuba Diver and Emergency First Responder.

Despite all of her achievements, she is most proud of being a mother to her three children. Nearly every weekend, she is in the ocean with her kids, surfing, swimming with sharks, or chasing dolphins down the coast taking video of the incredible San Diego marine life.
